Title: Directions for Guiding and Contacting Overseas Compatriot Student Clubs Ch

Content: 1.The Overseas Community Affairs Council (abbreviated to OCAC 
  hereafter) sets these Directions to guide Overseas Compatriot 
  Student Clubs (abbreviated to Student Clubs hereafter) to enhance 
  contacts and promote friendship.

2.Student Clubs are categorized as follows:
(1)School clubs, with school names.
(2)Regional clubs, with country or region names. 

3.To apply for registration, Student Clubs must submit the club 
  rules and a list of more than 20 members; school club applications 
  shall be submitted to the OCAC by the school, and regional clubs 
  shall apply to the OCAC directly.

4.The OCAC should guide registered Student Clubs to enhance contacts 
  and promote friendship.
  The OCAC can convene discussion meetings for responsible persons of 
  Student Clubs at any time. Responsible persons should attend on time 
  or designate a representative.
  In order to convey related information and enhance communications, 
  the OCAC may guide Student Clubs in the use of instant messaging 
  software or social media websites to establish a directory or set up 
  an online community.

5.Student Clubs can apply to the OCAC for subsidies according to the 
  Directions for OCAC Subsidies for Overseas Compatriot Student Club 
  Activities and Directions for OCAC Subsidies for Publications 
  Issued by Overseas Compatriot Student Clubs.

6.Student Clubs can engage in the following activities:
(1) Activities related to maintaining club operations.
(2) Welcoming, farewell or training activities for overseas compatriot 
    students.
(3) Social activities for major festivals.
(4) Taking part in OCAC activities to encourage networking among 
    overseas compatriot students.
(5) Taking part in reception service activities for important OCAC 
    events. 
(6) Assisting OCAC student recruitment activities.
(7) Planning and holding special overseas compatriot student activities.
